You can finally well & truly lose your shit now. Your favourite garage blues duo (Sorry Mr & Mrs White), THE BLACK KEYS have announced well overdue shows in our great southern land for early next year as a part of their ‘Turn Blue’ world tour.

With their first shows in Australia since their late 2012 run, Dan Auberach & Patrick Carney will be arriving in absolute style, with a deserving headline slot at Byron Bay’s Bluesfest for the 3rd of April next year. Afterwards the guys will be hitting up Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, then wrapping it all up in Adelaide on the 16th. Shows in the Hunter Valley in NSW & Yarra Valley in VIC are a part of the ‘Rolling Green’ (Wait for the 420 jokes) festival conjured up by the promoters behind ‘A Day on the Green’, who has previously brought out acts such as Bruce Springsteen to the wineries.

Much-loved Australian acts Spiderbait & Bad//Dreems, plus UK garage gods Band of Skulls will be the supporting acts for these ‘Rolling Green’ shows, ensuring that you will be pretty well set for a fucking ripper of a night with Dan & Pat (Not a 420 joke, I swear).

These shows are in support of The Black Keys 8th album released earlier this year. ‘Turn Blue’, was a substantial shift from the accessibility of hits from their 2011 mainstream smash ‘El Camino’. The release saw the ‘Keys experiment on a more expansive plain, treading into an almost neo-pysch territory.
