The Preatures to release debut album

Yes, you read that right; Sydney’s beloved indie darlings THE PREATURES are finally releasing their debut album later next month.

This exciting news came earlier today from the band’s Facebook page sharing details about the album, including a release date set for the 29th of September in Australia. Worldwide release dates are yet to be announced.

To get you even more excited, they released a brand-spankin’ new single entitled

‘Somebody’s Talking’ along with the album announcement, which you can stream here!

The Preatures rose to prominence last year with the release of their second EP ‘Is This How You Feel?’ which was subsequently nominated for 2 ARIA awards & voted 9th place in Triple J’s hottest 100.

Along with this amazing news today it was announced that they'll be heading off across the country with some unknown European band called the Rolling Stones. Apparently Maroon 5 wrote a song about that band or something.
