Foals added to Splendour after headline cancellation

As we reported earlier this morning, Two Door Cinema Club's Alex Trimble has fallen sick with a 'chronic stomach complaint' and the band won't be making it over.

“It is with a heavy heart that we are going to need to cancel our upcoming trip to Australia for Splendour in the Grass," the band states. "Alex collapsed at Seattle airport on the way to London and has been hospitalised with a chronic stomach complaint. We are devastated to have to cancel this show that we were so looking forward to. We can only apologise and hope for your understanding at this time. Love TDCC x”

It's not ALL doom and gloom though. One of the craziest live acts you'll ever see will be replacing them, Foals will be taking an earlier spot in the night and City and Colour are moving into the headline timeslot.
