The say two things in life are certain; death and taxes. While they can’t avoid death (however immortal we all wish they could be), it seems that all four members of the Arctic Monkeys have found a way to skirt around the latter. Together with thousands of other British citizens, the billion dollar ‘Liberty Tax Scheme’ helped the group collectively evade $3.4 million AUD in taxes, charging them anywhere from $69 337 to $87 569 AUD to become a part of the scheme. Yes it’s true, no one actually likes paying tax, but when you’ve been named one of the UK’s richest under 30, you could surely brush off a few thousand dollars amirite? At this current moment in time all four members of the band have declined to comment or release a statement.
