It's not every day you get to hear an awesome band do a cover but it does happen every Friday morning on Triple J's breakfast Like a Version. But even rarer than their famed weekly performances, is the chance to hear an epic Australian artist pay tribute to another epic Australian artist. We heard it a few weeks back with The Holidays cover of The Preatures and it's happened again, The Smith Street Band took to the JJJ studios to cover Courtney Barnett's epic tune, History Eraser, you can watch the clip above and we recommend you give it a few spins.
