Alt-j ∆ release new single

English geek-rock outfit Alt-J, have today released their latest single “Hunger Of The Pine” in anticipation of their upcoming LP “This Is All Yours”.

The band have been under immense pressure to produce music that matches the standard set by their Mercury prize winning debut LP, “An Awesome Wave” and they have definitely stood up to the bar in this new single, featuring new electronic aspects, clearer, spine-tingling vocals and also taking an unexpected turn featuring a sample of Miley Cyrus’ single “4x4” which fits so perfectly into the melody that it sounds like it was made for this song. All in all, I’m expecting greatness from this band on their upcoming releases, spending more than enough time in recording, hopefully there is much better to come.
