Ellie Goulding is Goulden

When Ellie Goulding announced a national tour of Australia, I was crying in front of my laptop screen, and unfortunately, so were my parents. They questioned my love for one Ellie Goulding and they didn’t understand why I was so ecstatic. I frantically pressed caps lock and messaged: “ ELIE GOUDLJING IS ITYURHNG OHB MY GOVD” to my 4 friends who were very confused as to what I was trying to say.

I remember stumbling upon her music on an 8-hour plane ride and I loved her from that moment. The only issue was that I didn’t know the name of the song [Starry Eyed] and the wonderful artist behind the song. But a couple of months later, I stumbled upon it on YouTube and ever since then, I’ve loved Ellie Goulding from the bottom of my heart to the top. Since 2010, her career has skyrocketed, and it’s pretty cool being able to see her everywhere now. She was “that chick who sang that Lights song” to “that woman named Ellie Goulding who sang all those hip songs”, and I can’t wait to see those hip songs live when she tours Australia later this month to early June. Excitement rising.
